Mrs. Ashna Bhalla
Mrs. Ashna Bhalla has been actively associated with India’s antipiracy initiatives since 2011 and brings extensive experience across the full spectrum of intellectual property rights, including prosecution, litigation, and administrative processes. She has independently represented both national and international clients, handling complex legal questions before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
Her professional journey began with internships under reputed lawyers and institutions, including Ms. Niranjana Singh (Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India), the Indian Social Institute, and Dhir & Dhir Associates. Early in her career, she worked on matters involving sick industries under SICA, debt recovery under the RDDB&FI and SARFAESI Acts, company law disputes, and a wide range of civil litigation. She later continued her practice before the higher judiciary during her association with Amarjit & Associates under Mr. Amarjit Singh, where she gained deep exposure to Trademark, Copyright, Design, and Patent litigation.
Subsequently, she joined Kanth & Associates, representing all Municipal Corporations of Delhi (SDMC, EDMC, NDMC) and the New Delhi Municipal Council in matters before the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court (Original Side and Writ Jurisdiction), District Courts, and specialized tribunals such as ATMCD, CAT, and MTT. She has independently briefed senior advocates across sensitive civil and criminal matters and has developed strong expertise in the prosecution processes of the Trademark and Copyright Registry in India.
Mrs. Bhagat has authored multiple articles and publications in the field of intellectual property rights. With 11 years of professional experience at the Bar, she continues to expand her practice across civil, corporate, and commercial laws while maintaining a strong foundation in IP enforcement and administration.
